Navoa Lands a Milestone Agreement with the Icelandic Coast Guard

Today, Navoa signed a trial agreement with the Icelandic Coast Guard, marking an important milestone in the company's ongoing efforts to enhance maritime safety and emergency response capabilities.

Under the agreement, Navoa's system will be enabled to transmit SOS emergency signals directly to the Icelandic Coast Guard, eliminating the need for intermediaries in the communication chain. This direct connection is expected to reduce response times, improve the accuracy of transmitted information, and strengthen coordination in critical situations at sea.

The trial phase will allow both parties to test and evaluate the technical integration and operational effectiveness of the solution, with the shared objective of increasing safety for seafarers in Icelandic waters.
